Love, bubs and life on our little farm

So we host the family christmas now that we have our lovely extended home and the only little kids, and i am unusual it seems in that i dont find it stressful. Probably because I am a fairly casual host! Though we do do a full hot lunch with turkey,ham, lamb and roast veg and a nice side - this year is pancetta and fetta green beans and roasted plums. We provide champagne - the nice stuff and have Christmas  Eve with drinks and platters on the deck. And i always feel blessed and peaceful.

However this year i am currently sitting in a medical centre waiting for x rays on a possible broken finger from a painful horse riding fall. And i hurt! suddenly all the cleaning, cooking and organising i had planned isnt so easy to do! going to have to rely on others this year, something i am not normally good at.

Life is always that little more complicated on a property! but its a merry christmas none the less with my two beautiful excited girls.
