The ladies who lunch

Our gorgeous chickens are our pseudo-dogs - they live in the backyard and they sleep on our back doormat. They are so lovely and tame and once you have owned a chook you will understand how sweet they are!

Anyways during the middle of the day, they love to line up along our back door and preen and peer inside to keep an eye on us. I had to take a photo of them! :)

I am 30 years old, am a microbiologist with a PhD and love looking after my little farm. I compete in dressage and showjumping with my horses. I have a passion for shopping and a weakness for pretty clothes, shoes and handbags. My husband and I have a gorgeous toddler called Elka and a little bub named Bronte. I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs.
