My little wriggler is growing well - she is an expert kicker and is currently lining up my cervix and making me jump! ouch! She makes me laugh often now - she is stubborn as her mum and dad - everytime hubby puts his ear on my belly she pushes and kicks against him as hard as she can - if he moves positions, she does too!

Hubby is reading her stories at night so she can get used to his voice. Its lovely family time for all us :)

All is OK in preggo land - I have had some strange very strong and painful cramps and backaches that have scared me. I am keen to talk about them with my obs when I have an appointment on Thursday. I am suspicious that I am doing too much on my feet - work is becoming very demanding.. I have my gestational diabetes test tomorrow, not sure how I will go as I have been such a sugar fiend with all these sweet cravings I have been having :)

I am so looking forward to the easter weekend - I cant wait for a nice rest with hubby as we have both been so busy recently. I am also planning on getting more sewing done on my mobile as it is turning out surprisingly nice!

I am getting so excited about our little bub - I cant wait to meet her now. Pregnancy has been nothing like what I expected - SO much harder! but even though it is getting tougher and more uncomfortable, I am loving it and I do love my belly :)My hormones are getting so strong now - I love nesting and cleaning etc and I am quick to get teary at just about anything!

Pregnancy stats - weight - 65.5 kg. Symptoms - cramps, backache, weariness. Cravings - sweet sweet sweet - cake and chocolate mostly - look out easter bunny!

About Me

My Photo
Amy
I am 30 years old, am a microbiologist with a PhD and love looking after my little farm. I compete in dressage and showjumping with my horses. I have a passion for shopping and a weakness for pretty clothes, shoes and handbags. My husband and I have a gorgeous toddler called Elka and a little bub named Bronte. I am a mother who works and has a career - just don't call me a "working mother". I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs. The scientist in me makes me a little cynical and I am more likely to tell you about my life and events then give you a pretty polaroid style picture and an inspiring quote. Not for everyone but I have a bad memory and blogging is my way of recording life :)
