So a horsey forum I read had this as a topic.
Sometimes its the little things that make you feel so damn awesome isn't it!
For me - my new Bates jumping saddle, I have waited 16 years for this saddle and instead of getting it second hand, I bought it new! That makes me feel like a million bucks.
The other day the thing that made me feel like life couldn't get much better - my Friday off, the kids slept in and I got out of bed in my beautiful new master bedroom, threw open the curtains and looked out on my amazing horse paddocks with the sun rising through the mist over the dam, twinkling through the snow gum tree trunks. I had a real "wow" moment - we worked hard for all of this but at the same time I sometimes want to pinch myself - to achieve my dream home and property by the time I was 30 is pretty amazing. Now to find some new goals!
And finally, a real mum moment - today Elka was asleep in her car seat when Bronte grabbed up her hand and sat there holding Elka's hand beaming with pride and happiness. Oh how I love my girls and how they love each other.
Would love to hear your millionaire moments.

About Me
- Amy
- I am 30 years old, am a microbiologist with a PhD and love looking after my little farm. I compete in dressage and showjumping with my horses. I have a passion for shopping and a weakness for pretty clothes, shoes and handbags. My husband and I have a gorgeous toddler called Elka and a little bub named Bronte. I am a mother who works and has a career - just don't call me a "working mother". I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs. The scientist in me makes me a little cynical and I am more likely to tell you about my life and events then give you a pretty polaroid style picture and an inspiring quote. Not for everyone but I have a bad memory and blogging is my way of recording life :)

I feel like a millionaire every time Lachlan cuddles me and says, "Mummy, you are super beautiful"
It is the small things! At the moment all of mine revolve around the kids. Hearing them play happily together, seeing them interact with other adults with perfect manners, and yes, having them say "I love you Mummy" are my amazing moments. Makes me sit back and go "Ah" and feel like my world is complete and reassure me that I'm doing my 'job' as a mother right. :)
