Random choice of date for an update but I have a 15 week belly pic so I thought I better do an update.

Tummy seems to have popped - not fitting a lot of clothes now and I am wearing most shorts etc below my bump. A bit of back ache and some sciatic nerve pain but other than that feeling pretty strong and fit. Although my feet just ache and ache by the end of the day, would help if I had a job where I sat down for some of the day!

Had an obs appt this morning, heard the heartbeat which is always nice.

Most notable is that I am finally feeling much better! Only mild nausea mainly if I don't eat. Its good to feel almost human again. Hurrah for the second trimester! Although poor old Jase has been on the receiving end of a few hormonal outbursts...

This is really the best stage of pregnancy - you feel less sick and tired and you are still mobile and relatively agile. I am feeling bubby when I sit down and relax (which only happens at about 8.30pm) - little thumps and knocks. So cute.

On the countdown now until our 19-20 week scan where we find out the sex! Exciting! I feel like we are having another girl...

You look fantastic. Glad to know that you are feeling better and you can feel the thumps when you put your feet up. Hope the heat is not getting to you, and you're not missing riding your horses too much. One more month until the next scan.

About Me

My Photo
Amy
I am 30 years old, am a microbiologist with a PhD and love looking after my little farm. I compete in dressage and showjumping with my horses. I have a passion for shopping and a weakness for pretty clothes, shoes and handbags. My husband and I have a gorgeous toddler called Elka and a little bub named Bronte. I am a mother who works and has a career - just don't call me a "working mother". I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs. The scientist in me makes me a little cynical and I am more likely to tell you about my life and events then give you a pretty polaroid style picture and an inspiring quote. Not for everyone but I have a bad memory and blogging is my way of recording life :)
