It has been a year since I was terrified and excited and blown away and all things like that, trying to believe that I was really pregnant and going to have a bub. In honour of just how wonderful the female body is, I thought I would post a timeline - my tummy then, my tummy now and my tummy at the business end of the whole pregnancy journey. I cant believe that I have gone from 40 weeks pregnant to how I look now in 4 months - I am in awe of my body for being so adaptable! (and stretchy hehe).

It is just the most amazing thing and I cannot wait to do it again!! (hehe yes morning sickness, cramps and labour have not been forgotten but they pale into insignificance in front of a precious newborn)

So here it is - 4 weeks pregnant - October 2008

40 weeks pregnant - June 2008

You look fantastic! I can't believe how quickly you got back into shape. I'm so jealous.

You look great Amy! I hope to God my tummy returns to a perfect flat tum like (helps if I fall pregnant first) ;)

About Me

Amy
I am 30 years old, am a microbiologist with a PhD and love looking after my little farm. I compete in dressage and showjumping with my horses. I have a passion for shopping and a weakness for pretty clothes, shoes and handbags. My husband and I have a gorgeous toddler called Elka and a little bub named Bronte. I am a mother who works and has a career - just don't call me a "working mother". I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs. The scientist in me makes me a little cynical and I am more likely to tell you about my life and events then give you a pretty polaroid style picture and an inspiring quote. Not for everyone but I have a bad memory and blogging is my way of recording life :)
