A big thank you to the gorgeous Kirrily for the tag on this challenge.
It's really simple. I love how every photo tells a story. Some short stories, some long tales. I want to know what is your favourite photo of yourself. Everyone has one. The photo they look at and smile. It reminds them of something, some time, some place. A moment in time.So share the photo, share the story and then tag three other people. I want to see photos and stories all around the blogosphere.
Copy and paste the writing that is in bold as well as the polaroid above onto your blog, and then select three other people/blogs to tag.
Here is my choice - it was a hard one, I am very blessed with a wonderful life filled with loves and travels and I could have picked a million photos. But this photo stands out to me in particular. It was taken three years ago, when I was 25. Jase and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary by backpacking around Europe. I was presenting my PhD work to an international conference in the UK and was very close to finishing my PhD so I had been frantically busy and stressed (I remember the night before we left for the trip I was at uni setting up experiments at 1am) and was now enjoying taking 7 weeks to spend with my husband eating and exploring Italy, France, the UK and Japan. *bliss*
We were soaking up the Spring sun in Positano on the Italian Almafi coast and I love how relaxed my face is (something you didn't see much during my PhD years). Our hotel was one of our "splurge" hotels and we were feeling very decadent and indulgent. All up - a very happy romantic time and that photo brings it all back to me.

About Me
- Amy
- I am 30 years old, am a microbiologist with a PhD and love looking after my little farm. I compete in dressage and showjumping with my horses. I have a passion for shopping and a weakness for pretty clothes, shoes and handbags. My husband and I have a gorgeous toddler called Elka and a little bub named Bronte. I am a mother who works and has a career - just don't call me a "working mother". I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs. The scientist in me makes me a little cynical and I am more likely to tell you about my life and events then give you a pretty polaroid style picture and an inspiring quote. Not for everyone but I have a bad memory and blogging is my way of recording life :)
