Jase is worried - he is well and truly outnumbered by girls in this house. It's sure to be expensive. Particularly when Elka often demands to go shopping, is drawn to pretty things like jewellery and bedazzled shoes and then raves about "it was on sale!".

And it seems Bronte is following in the same footsteps. She loves handbags. And this is how she insisted on sleeping the other day.

LOL - oh dear! We have a little girl addicted to sparkly shoes, jewellery, all things pink and handbags as well! Given I don't consider myself a 'girly girl' its stumped me as well as her Daddy. Funny part is that Liam gets around in my high heels, wants handbags, hairclips and loves shopping as well. ;)

Handbags? That might be her mum's influence, perhaps? Adorable. You tell me that she also loves splashing around in the farm with her work boots on, so it sounds like she's pretty well balanced to me.

That is hilarious! Although I must say I was very partial to bags and sparkly things and ribbons when I was small. It's funny how we're made isn't it?

About Me

Amy
I am 30 years old, am a microbiologist with a PhD and love looking after my little farm. I compete in dressage and showjumping with my horses. I have a passion for shopping and a weakness for pretty clothes, shoes and handbags. My husband and I have a gorgeous toddler called Elka and a little bub named Bronte. I am a mother who works and has a career - just don't call me a "working mother". I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs. The scientist in me makes me a little cynical and I am more likely to tell you about my life and events then give you a pretty polaroid style picture and an inspiring quote. Not for everyone but I have a bad memory and blogging is my way of recording life :)
