Sorry terrible pun for the title! But now that I have finished my house renovation posts, I can get back to what I love talking about - shopping ;) oh and my kids of course..

So today I felt like sharing with you my new absolute favorite mascara. I have been a little ho-hum about mascara's lately but I got a free full sized mascara in a Napoleon Perdis gift I recently picked up with some great new foundation. It is called Mesmer-Eyes Mascara and it is bloody amazing - it gives you long thick eyelashes that seriously look like falseys. I feel so feminine and glam when I use it as particularly the edge lashes get all long and gorgeous. It took me a few goes to master using the teeth on the comb (rather than a brush) but I have it down now.

If you are feeling a bit drab, I would definitely recommend it as an instant glam pick me up :)

I only wish I could use mascara! I have to say that I have been blessed with long eyelashes, but they are blonde, so don't show up very well. If I try to use mascara - no matter how good the brand, and no matter what type - I end up looking hideous as they clump and end up looking so fake that its not funny! I need to get back to getting mine tinted - only way I can show them off properly!

I have this mascara and hate it. Maybe I haven't mastered the funny teeth wand bit? I just end up with lots of mascara everywhere :(

Oh yes I know exactly what you mean Sarah! You have to wipe as much off as possible on the neck of the mascara and then just very lightly touch onto base of lashes and sweep up with thicker teeth. Then use fine teeth to tease out any thicker clumps of lashes :)

ah thanks Amy :) I just ended up with HEAPS on and very clumpy too... might give it another go tomorrow while I'm home, that way if it looks funky it's just my 5 month old boy that will see me :P

I am a mother who works and has a career - just don't call me a "working mother". I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs. The scientist in me makes me a little cynical and I am more likely to tell you about my life and events then give you a pretty polaroid style picture and an inspiring quote. Not for everyone but I have a bad memory and blogging is my way of recording life :)
