Yesterday I dressed Elka and I, and got ready to go to the shops. As we went to leave I realised we were looking like twinnies with bow tops, jeans and our fringes pinned back. Whoops! Definitely time to get out more ;)

Here we are - incidently I love my bow singlet and I adore that t-shirt on Elka so neither of us changed. I did take her fringe out of the clip though!

Clearly the man outside the shopping centre that insisted on wolf whistling at us over and over again didnt have a problem with the mother/daughter outfits (what a loser!!). I have ranted about this before but why do men try to pick women up who are pushing a baby in a stroller? Surely the chances of rejection are going to be pretty high!

Anyways - I remember when I was a little girl, Mum sewed both her and I a dress in the same fabric. Whenever Mum put her dress on, I would run into my room and change into mine. Poor Mum! It must have been a little embarressing for her!

Loser is quite an understatement!

I hope you had a lovely weekend. x

Man - I haven't experienced the whistling yet - perhaps because I normally look like a dag !

About Me

My Photo
Amy
I am 30 years old, am a microbiologist with a PhD and love looking after my little farm. I compete in dressage and showjumping with my horses. I have a passion for shopping and a weakness for pretty clothes, shoes and handbags. My husband and I have a gorgeous toddler called Elka and a little bub named Bronte. I am a mother who works and has a career - just don't call me a "working mother". I don't do inside hobbies and craft and have only successfully sewn two things in my life that weren't ripped horserugs. The scientist in me makes me a little cynical and I am more likely to tell you about my life and events then give you a pretty polaroid style picture and an inspiring quote. Not for everyone but I have a bad memory and blogging is my way of recording life :)
